Our default survey templates have been developed in keeping with all the best practices we have learnt from sending out over a million guest surveys, and before your account goes live, we work closely with each client to make sure the survey is exactly what that business needs. However, guests and businesses change, and we know there may come a time when you would like to change your questionnaire.

Making content changes
First, we recommend you preview your survey to see exactly which questions you’re currently asking, and how your question and page logic works. Then, you will want to take a look at your questionnaire side by side with your reporting, particularly your comprehensive report. Some questionnaire changes will have an impact on the way your data is displayed in your reports, so it’s important you are familiar with your surveys and reports.
Once you have decided which changes you would like to make, please contact the support team at email@example.com. Depending on the nature and extent of the changes you have requested, they may want to chat with you about how your changes will impact your data.
Making design changes
You can update basic design elements of your questionnaire, such as some of the colours and banner image, yourself. These settings can be found in the brand wrapper section of your survey.
- In your GuestRevu account, navigate to Questionnaires in the left-hand menu
- If you have multiple surveys, find the one you would like to edit, and click on Brand Wrapper
- From here, you will be able to customise your survey colour palette and upload a header image
- To change the header image, click on Choose files and upload the new image from your computer
- Make sure you have set the image you would like to use to be the Default image
- Please note that only JPG, JPEG and PNG formats are accepted, and that image files cannot be larger than 2mb
We also offer ultra-custom surveys for brands with very specific corporate identities and look and feel requirements. These surveys are custom-built for you in consultation with your own marketing and design teams. If you are interested in having an ultra-custom survey created, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Alternatively, if you have someone on your team that can write css, you can send us a css file to attach to your survey.
Top Tip: Even small changes can affect the way your guests answer your questions, so we recommend you use Milestone Markers to record any changes you make to your questionnaire.
Why can’t I make question changes myself?
Due to the complexity of the relationships between individual questions, questionnaire logic and your reports, we need to ensure that any changes to your questionnaires don’t affect your guests or the data coming into your account.
Can I customise my Alerts?
By default, Alerts will be triggered when a guest gives you a score of two or lower on a five-point scale. If you would like to adjust this threshold, please contact the support team on email@example.com
Can I have a multi-language questionnaire?
Yes, we are able to add multiple versions of your questionnaire to your account so that guests can give feedback in whichever language they are most comfortable with. Find out more about language and translation options here
NOTE: GuestRevu CORE users have access to our default template survey only, and cannot request changes to their questionnaires. If you would like to upgrade to PRO or GROUP, speak to our sales team.
