Setting up your Account Switch

When you have multiple accounts and account groups, the Account Switch function allows you to quickly and easily switch between individual properties and specific groups.

In this article, we are going to show you how to:  
  • Add Individual properties to your Account Switch 
  • Add Group Accounts to your Account Switch 
  • Switch between individual properties and account groups

Adding individual properties to my Account Switch 

First, you will need to add your individual properties and group accounts to your Account Switch. 

  1. Log in to your GuestRevu account at https://my.guestrevuapp.com
  2. If you have access to more than one account, you will land on your accounts page. Here you will see a list of properties you have access to
  3. Click on the Actions button next to the individual property 
  4. Select Add to Account Switch (To add all properties to your Account Switch, repeat the process for each one).
  5. Confirm this action in the pop-up window 

Adding Account Groups to your Account Switch 

Note: You will need to have been added to a group account or have created one from the properties you have access to. Haven’t created an Account Group yet? Read how here.

  1. Log in to your GuestRevu account at https://my.guestrevuapp.com
  2. Select Account Groups 
  3. Click Actions 
  4. Select Add to Account Switch 
  5. Click Confirm 

Now that you have accounts and groups in your Account Switch, you will be able to navigate quickly between them.

  1. Click on Switch Account at the top of your GuestRevu screen
  2. Select which account or group account you want to view from the dropdown menu
  3. The account will automatically load

Frequently asked Questions

When I switch accounts, what page will I land on? 

The system will take you to the same report you were viewing, for the account or account group you are switching to. For example, if you are in an individual account looking at your Tripadvisor Report and you want to view the same report on a different property or as a group, click on your Switch Account select the property or group and the account will automatically load to the TripAdvisor page 

 

Note that when switching between account groups and individual accounts, not all reports available in an individual account will match exactly to those available in a group account. In this case, you will land on the next closest match. For example, if you are looking at the Competitor Report in an individual account and you switch to a group account, you will land on the leaderboard report

What happens if I have filters applied in the account?

The filters will reset automatically when you switch accounts, so you will need to reset them. 

What happens to the date range I have selected?  

The date range will stay applied when you switch between Individual and Group accounts.

Top Tip 

Having a group account means that you have all the insights you need to make the best operational decisions as a brand and at individual level. Use score targets to ensure brand standards are upheld throughout your group and have a look at how you can use advanced filters to refine the data even further.
